Product overview

Corner Bead 130° (CB-130)

CB-130 corner bead finishes splayed outside drywall corners, such as bay windows, angled walls and chamfered columns. The bead is set at 130° so it sits tight on a 135° corner once fastened, with 1-1/4″ perforated flanges in galvanneal steel for good compound adhesion. It installs like a standard bead, with nails, screws or a clincher, and is finished with joint compound. CB-130 comes in lengths from 8′ to 12′, 25 pieces per carton, and conforms to ASTM C1047. Data sheet DS-18 shows the profile, where it is used and installation steps.

On wide-angle outside drywall corners: bay windows, angled walls, chamfered columns and angled bulkheads.

The flanges are formed 5° under the corner angle. Pressed onto a 135° corner they open up and spring back against the board, so the bead sits tight before it is fastened.

Like a standard bead: with nails, screws or a clincher through the flanges, then finished with joint compound.

Use Corner Bead 90° (CB-90) for 90° outside corners.
